My kids don't know it yet, but we totally signed them up for gymnastics! I'm totally excited. And yes, I'll freely admit that I am doing this partly because I missed out as a kid. (I just knew I would have been through-the-roof good, had I the chance. I wasn't too optimistic, though. I figured silver would just have to do.) But my kids are also missing out on fall soccer this year, so I think this is the fall sport. It's a good thing I didn't sign up for soccer, because Agent J has a slightly broken toe, and the school day is sooooooo long for our kindergartner that an after-school sport would be too, too much. So Saturday morning gymnastics it is!
Did you ever notice that 'kindergartners' is a very long word for such small people?
