Corny Chores

Okay, so our little Mister S is quite a neat little guy. He has been learning a lot more new words, but his pronunciations for these words is something that he is still working on. But. . . he also has started adding a "y" to some of his new words. As a result, he now now says "horny" when he means to say "corn," (adding the 'y') and for chores he says "whores" because he doesn't have the "ch" sound down quite yet. Kudos for the little man putting forth the effort, but it sure is hard to keep a straight face when he's learning these new words. . . and adding a little spice to them in the process- whew.

It's true! Samuel has started using H as the first sound for just about any word he isn't comfortable with the real first sound. So we have hooes and hocks, hide (for hide, slide or outside, it gets confusing), hips (chips), and the boys' favorite: Yego Har Woarth. He yust keepth on hwying- what a cutie!

Joel and Kevin used to substitute "f" for "tr" -- an awkward, but true, moment for everyone when they started fighting over trucks in church!!

Also, Parker's favorite story for a while was "Bed Dam Asses" -- we had to explain to EVERY babysitter that that was code for "Bread and Jam for Frances"!!!!!
